We eat at Hometown cafe at least 2x per month. Great service, very generous with tarter sauce or ranch for fries. They come around frequently to see if anything needed incl coffee or other drinks. They all work really hard to make the meal the way you'd like it. Hands down our favorite.

Eggs Benedict to die for! This place has one of the best breakfast food in town. My table ordered these amazing Eggs Benedict and a Breakfast Burrito and they were both tasty. The Eggs Benedict have to be some of the best I have ever ordered anywhere. The chorizo con huevos is another highly recommended plate. Highly recommend if you ever visit Reno!

I had really high hopes for this place but I wasn’t too impressed with the breakfast food. Service was great and atmosphere was okay. Maybe I’ll have to go back and try something else.

I called them 8 minutes before closing and asked if they could make me a fish n chips to go, and they did. This is real food, real service. 4 fillets and a whole tray of fries with coleslaw and tartar sauce for 15$. Just want to say thank you and it's delicious. Felt like crap all day and now thanks to some good food and human kindness I'm feeling better. Much love

Holy molie!!!! Took my kids to eat here and the place was jumping! Busy, busy, busy. Obviously one of the local favourites! Even though it was busy, the servers and other staff were courteous and fast! We each ordered a meal and let’s me tell you, it was the best breakfast we’ve had in years! My some ordered the steak-and-eggs, grilled to perfection, my daughter ordered the French Toast and they were delectable! I ordered an omelette and it was plentiful and delicious. We left the Café feeling full to the hilt. Unfortunately, because we were so full we weren’t able to try their famous pies so, we’ll need to come back and visit again. If you are not a big eater, I’d recommend sharing a plate with your partner/loved one/friend. I also recommend you keep coming back over and over and over so you can try it all. If I lived nearby, I’d definitely be a regular. The restaurant is tastefully decorated with photos and signatures of famous and not so famous people involved with hometown cafe and the annual air races. Lots of memorabilia to keep a customer occupied while they prep and deliver one’s food.
